The tip on this adapter is yellow and matches the yellow inputs on many units. This isn't nessesary to have though, others will have a black input and work just fine with this. If your CD, MD, MP3 has a 6V jack with a ( ) tip in the center, then this is what you need. At home, or anywhere there is a wall outlet, you can plug your Minidisc / CD / or MP3 player up to this Power Adaptor to help save your batteries. This really is a lifesaver (and battery saver)!.
